not that you people need any more motivation to hate the ex but he may genuinely be superstitious, if he is it isnt unlikely hes had a lot of bad luck or health problems recently and feels guilty about not thinking he is good enough or able to make the relationship work and is misaligning it to his superstition. Your life is ****** but i dont know if id accuse the guy of being a jerk just yet. More confused and ignorant.
