Did he really dump you because of his "bond" with his stuffed goose? If he did, that's really quite sad (i.e., pathetic), and FYL for having to deal with that. On that other hand, I am a 21 year old man who still has the stuffed animals my best friends in high school gave me, and I understand the sentimentality over something that was given to you (especially if it was the first gift you ever received from a friend). If, instead, he broke up with you because you were trying to break his "bond" by telling him to get rid of the stuffed goose, then I would side with him. Sentimentality may not make a "manly man," but to me, it makes one human--I'd appreciate anyone who has treasures in their life that they're not willing to part with (within reason, of course). If he broke up with you because you told him he needed to change for you, then YDI.

If it was the original Vol-tron with all the lions still intact, I'd understand. If he kept his He-Man collection, awesome!!! But a stuffed Goose? Unless it's from someone who passed away, he's too old for that. Just get a new guy. That one is not worth it.
