Today, I was out with my boyfriend, when he started browsing wedding rings. He found a ring, proposed to me right there in front of a crowd, and then was promptly denied a payment plan. We left without a ring. FML

I AGREE! the OP need to suck it up and stop being a snob. His gestures are very cute and spontaneous (and isn't spontaneous what every girls want?) I'm sure he'll pick out a real ring with you later on if you say yes. I hope you said yes!

Aww that is SO cute!!! I hope I have a boyfriend someday that does something like that for me. It would be much more fun than some boring, expensive chunk of metal presented in the middle of a fancy setting, I think.
