Today, I was out with my boyfriend, when he started browsing wedding rings. He found a ring, proposed to me right there in front of a crowd, and then was promptly denied a payment plan. We left without a ring. FML

That is the sweetest thing I have ever heard! (no pun intended) How on earth is that an FML? I'd marry my man if he purposed with a 25¢ ring from a gum machine! A ring is just a symbol of the never ending love between the two of you. Don't be selfish and demand Tiffany's. It's just a thing that at some point will tarnish and fade. But love, if true, is forever. Love is not just a feeling, it's a choice.

How is this an FML? The engagement ring shouldn't matter that much. My Dad got my Mom some ring from the dollar store that had fake jewels that shaped into a flower. She STILL has it in her jewelry box in it's own special space so it doesn't break. It's not about the million dollar ring. It's about the thought! And the proposal itself!
