Well, he IS right with both things. You can't just expect him to just KNOW what you want. Stop dropping hints and just tell him. And then, you can't always expect to get what you want. You guys can downvote this comment all you guys want, but the fact remains that the boyfriend does NOT have to do everything you tell him just because you want him to. Sure, it's a nice thing if he does, but you can't expect it. Normally I hate people playing Devil's Advocate, but in this case, I think it's justified.
