Today, my boyfriend told me that he'd feel like a failure if he went to community college. I'm planning to go to community college next year. FML

College is expensive as hell. You'll save a ton of money by going to a community college and as long as you still get a degree from a good school you'll be fine.

Most people change there majors in college, and you won't know what you truly want to be until you start community college is a great way to save money and it's not like you are receiving a worse education just a cheaper one :) ignore him OP don't let him get you down for being finically smart

I don't think he was necessarily shooting you down. I go to college (I'm in Canada), and personally I feel like a failure, because I didn't succeed in university. But I do think college is a great option for some. Maybe you just misunderstood what he meant?
