Today, my boyfriend took me on a romantic weekend away at a hotel. What is he doing now? On his computer looking up stuff on Craigslist while I am watching t.v. alone. FML

I know how you feel... I spent a bunch of money to fly out to see my girl for vacation. I was hanging out on the bed... she was sitting in a chair or reading a book. That's great... I love spending hundreds of dollars to watch tv in a hotel. FYL :(

men get paid more than women do, so I'd be nice if they payed since they've got the money. (Im talking about a man and a woman with the same job, the man will be paid more. men usually make more anyway, unless the woman is a doctor while the man is a garbage man) and I'm not saying they have to, but I'd be nice. and you'd probably score major points for it. anyway, the person who invited/made the plans should be the one to pay. they were the ones who arranged it :/

Who said anything about problems with who's paying? The problem is the boyfriend pretty much paid to go to Disney land and now he's sitting in the car while she's expecting to at least get a ride on the teacup. Get out of the car and into the teacup!! :P

I don't get this whole guys/girls shouldn't pay argument. I always go halves! Or just pay for my portion of whatever it is.. This weekend I paid for half of the travel, food and accomodation.. so we just paid for our own things

So get up and make him forget about his computer...make it the romantic getaway that you wanted. He might be too busy thinking about what he could've bought instead of using his pocketbook on a hotel, so maybe suggest some activities that you guys could do to where he'll want to do the hotel thing more often.
