Today, I was out with my boyfriend, when he started browsing wedding rings. He found a ring, proposed to me right there in front of a crowd, and then was promptly denied a payment plan. We left without a ring. FML

Maybe he just isnt ready for commiting to marriage. Its best if you just let it happen when you both are ready. It shudnt be only one way. Both sides have to be on the same page.

Just because he won an engagement ring (something tells me that the "engagement" part is wishful thinking) doesn't mean he needs to propose to you. On the other hand maybe he's going to use the money to buy a better ring? Food for thought.
