Okay... now I'm scared. Your friend sounds just like me (except the pregnancy)... this is why I'm getting my tubes tied when I'm older.

I feel your pain, OP. You shouldn't have to suffer through that. I say, keep going with the IVF, if it still doesn't work, use a surrogate mother or adopt a child. Everyone who wants a child and who will be a good parent deserves to have a child. I wish you the best of luck. :) And, who knows? Maybe getting pregnant will change your friend's mind.

I'm so sorry. my mom went through 4 years of infertility, but she had me and my little brother through ivf. if that doesn't work you can adopt. I know it's not the same, but you'll make a wonderful mother for someone.

I get how OP feels about having her own. I'm currently pregnant and it's an amazing thing to have a baby grow inside you and know that you have accomplished this. That being said, it would probably be quite an amazing thing to save another child from foster care or growing up on the street
