Today, my child-hating friend who vowed never to have any no matter what, announced that she's pregnant. I've had three IVF cycles, spent $90k in fertility treatments, and still can't conceive. FML

did adoption never cross your mind? you could have adopted a child for a fraction of the money you've spent on fertility treatments. or are orphans just not good enough for you? ydi for not adopting.

the op deserves her child hating friend getting pregnant but not her just because she doesnt want to adopt? Don't judge other peoples decisions because of other avaliable alternatives tard, if she want's her own, she want's her own, plus the fml doesnt say she's to good for orphans, grow up

And she deserves it because she is trying to follow one of the most natural instincts that a woman has? adoption is great and all but honestly if she wants her own then I don't think anything can justify saying she deserves to be unable to conceive. You are insensitive and uninformed and leave me feeling a little sick.

While I think adopting would be a good choice, I would never presume to judge her because she hasn't. She may have her own reasons for why she hasn't adopted, and it's still sad that she's infertile, so shut your fat lips.

I too suffer from infertility! And would definitely spend that and more just to have a child. You have no clue what's it's like and the lengths that we'd go to just have one child.

Wow, that really sucks. Good Luck on your journey. And omg to all the people telling the OP to adopt.... yeah adoption not that simple! Can take longer to adopt a child than it does to actually get pregnant and give birth!

Pretty sure the idiot above that said "some people are not meant to procreate" has quite the theory. It's funny you say that because I know idiotic teenage morons who snort coke in front of their baby, let alone drop their unwanted burden on their poor parents. Hmm..were they MEANT to procreate? Please, I would love to hear your theory on that one, you dumbass. All in all, all I see anymore are the biggest losers and the worst people that would be the worst parents ARE parents while people who would do anything for their child or stay home with their child everynight have trouble. I thoroughly enjoyed your comment, especially the parts where you call me idiot and dumbass. Yes, some people aren't meant to have kids. Who? THE ONES WHO CAN'T HAVE KIDS, you imbecile. I'm not making judgements about them, simply stating a fact that some people can't have children even if they would be great parents.
