Today, my daughter asked me what is the youngest age at which you should start having sex. Being a good mom, I said that she shouldn't have sex until after she's been married. My daughter then said, "Oh... shoot," and walked away. My daughter is twelve. FML

you should keep a better eye on what your twelve year is doing and who she's hanging around with

@164 - Losing your virginity is a consequence of having sex? Shit I wish I had have known that sooner!!!

When I was twelve, I thought a ******** was when you get your hair blow-dryed at the salon.. I also thought 'sex' was equivalent to fertilization - the sharing of any bodily fluids - kind of like how disney princesses are magically shown with children immediately after their first kiss? Perhaps she's kissed someone :D! I was, when I was 10, scared of getting pregnant by my own father, because I accidentally ate with the same fork he had eaten with... LOL! My point here is, she's most likely not had sex. I can't imagine she would share it with you if she really had, but that's just my opinion.

Random fact for all the parents/children/generally curious here. Most people announce things such as "Children go through puberty between 9 and 15" Well, my mother started her period when she was 16. I started my period when I was 7. Everyone's different. Just because I went through puberty early, obviously did not effect my 'experience level' or my desire for sex. To this day I have an abnormally low sex drive; I'm a virgin and have no interest in changing that fact.. I don't see where all this lust floating through the air has come from, and find it to be a horrible epidemic. But that's just be ranting there, nothing directed at anyone :D

What I'm picking up from this is that you're asexual...

I don't think you have to be married to have sex. As long as two people love each other a lot, then it should be fine.

You should have talked to get about safe sex.

That could mean a few different things...
