Time to find a new (hopefully healthier) habit to kill time
You need to move to a bigger city. FYL.
Move to a bigger city so they can drink all the time? They need help not access to more alcohol.
On my eating binges I would hold the phone to my ear when ordering and paying to make it seem as if the excess food was meant for multiple people... The lows are low my friend. Fight through and know you can get through it
I still do this now :'(
quite the willpower.
CAA
You may want to talk about it with a loved one and may want to consider AA. Save yourself before any log term damage is done
man that hit home with me. I'm a recovering drug addict and alcoholic. I finally hit my bottom last year and today I have a little over 5 months clean and sober. don't be ashamed of this - it's just a chance for you to take a look at yourself and how your life is being affected which will enable you to make the changes necessary for your well-being. I've done some pretty disgraceful and outlandish crap to get my dope or booze. but I finally had enough. I caught a DUI which sent me to rehab last november. I relapsed once in january but February's relapse scared the life outta me and I 've been straight ever since. hope you can pull thru this OP. I have faith in you <3<3<3
Nobody likes a quitter.
That's a beautiful, honest, and helpful comment. I thank you for sharing your feelings, and hope you're still doing OK :-)
35- Except a quitter from drugs and alcohol. People need to be encouraged not discouraged.
This is a serious condition that needs to be treated. If you had a debilitating injury or illness that jeopardized your life, you would seek out medical professionals. Substance addiction and emotional or mental health should be treated just as urgently. Please do not feel ashamed. These aren't conditions you are supposed to fight alone and unaided.
Reach out. It doesn't matter who, just reach out to someone. Best of luck OP.
I know it's hard op, and I hope you're reading these comments, but you know you have a problem, and that's the first step, the second is to reach out, go to AA, check into a rehab facility. But don't ignore this.

"There she is again. She's just been standing there for an hour, staring." "Should we do something?" "Nah, she can't be that desperate. Give her another hour."
