Today, I walked into a liquor store and thought about inquiring for a job application. After seeing the cashier, I thought about inquiring if she was single. After accidentally breaking three bottles of liquor, I didn't do either. I left the store, still single and unemployed. FML

Today, I bought a small bottle of liquor to share with my husband to celebrate our move. It took three hours at the store as the cashier, manager, GM, and a police officer checked my ID believing it was fake. I'm 25. FML

Today, after being constipated a few days, I used the restroom at a bar. It took a loooong time before I got out. As I went to exit the bar, only the employees were still there, waiting for me because they had closed 30 minutes ago. FML

Today, I went out for drinks for the first since I stopped breastfeeding. I underestimated how low my tolerance had become and how strong the drinks were. My husband was stopped by two bouncers while trying to carry me to the car. They thought he'd drugged me. FML

My mother is an alcoholic. Everyday her boyfriend walks to the store right before 8am (the legal drinking time in Wisconsin) to get her beer. She drinks almost a twelve pack a day... My entire family is alcoholics excluding myself. So please, get help. It's painful for me to have to see my mother drink herself into a stupor everyday along with not eating and knowing that there isn't anything I can do to get her to stop (I've tried since I was 10)... I don't know if you have the support but I wouldn't mind being a friendly ear to listen to your problems while seeking recovery. Don't let alcoholism consume you. You can quit, I have faith in you.

I used to do that too plus I would have four or five different liquor stores so the clerk wouldn't see me everyday yes you are an alcoholic join AA or go to treatment
