Join the party; if your parents so wanted they could have had you aborted with a wink, a shrug and a flick of the wrist! As a father in the same position as him, he should be ashamed of telling you that, but at the same time, you should be aware that whilst yes it is a factor in his life, it truly should not change how much he loves you. I hope thats as true for him as it is for me and my kids
