@ #203 (Namaste): It is my experience that selfish people usually don't realize they are being selfish. They are so self-involved that they fail to see how their actions affect others. If you can't see or understand how what the man did was selfish, I'd take a long, hard look in the mirror... Btw, no one DESERVES to be selfish at other people's expense. If it's a wedding and the people present are guests, sure be as selfish as you want. But you can't shut off a film in the middle and FORCE everyone to witness your proposal just so you can feel special and expect it to go over well. Btw, you know what's really pathetic? Someone calling themselves "Namaste" and then telling people that they're "pathetic" and they should "go **** themselves". You seem to think very highly of yourself to have chosen that handle. Self-important much?
Well you didn't deserve that but if it'd hit him he would've. He shouldn't have interrupted a movie that was for the Public who'd paid for it. He could've rented out the whole theatre if he wanted to propose there so badly. Otherwise- who proposes in a movie thaetre anyway?! Doesn't sound very romantic..
LOOOOOOOOOL
What did you think would happen? He ruined everyone else's experience just to propose. That's not romantic.
Aww! That is so rude! What a total jackass.
I would have been pretty pissed if that happened during a movie I was really into. But, at least he was creative, I guess?
This whole FML is just ridiculous. "Today, my boyfriend did something rude and self-important, and then we were both surprised when the people he was rude to reacted with rudeness. FML." Throwing the soda? Totally rude. Interrupting a movie for a proposal? Totally rude.

Well, it is kind of rude to interrupt the movie for other people. I know I would get made if the movie I pair for suddenly stopped in the middle so some guy I don't know could propose.
Who would even think of interrupting a movie to propose? Dumbest idea ever. Plus getting down on one knee in a movie theater? Ewwwwwwww. Those floors are nasty.
