For all of you people who are saying pot is bad for you stop being such pricks and step off your pedestal. There have been alot of people on here who are saying pot is mentally addictive and thats why its illegal, EVERYTHING has the potential to be mentally addictive. There are people who are addicted to working out because it releases endorphines in there brain that make them happy and leave them feeling good, does this mean that we should make excersizing illegal?

Here's a story from thousands of years ago. When there was little to do back a thousand years ago, a random guy picked a random plant that smelled good and decided to smoke it. Well it gave him a good feeling so he decided to do it more and spread it with everyone else. 100 of years later the American government decided they dont want people to feel good for free (people could grow or get from friends). So they decided to make it illegal. Now take a second and think about it. Its illegal to pick a leave off a plant and light it on fire and inhale the fumes? Wtf? Where's the logic in that? Look how bad this world has turned into.

Look. I don't smoke but I'm not going to be an asshole about it I'm just saying that some people get mentally addicted to it and then try other drugs to go along with it. Weeds not bad but the fact that some ppl get experimental with it and soon they're hanging out with "the wrong crowd ". As for op fyl man and just stick with weed don't any of the stupid drugs .

If you're both under 18, I'd say your friend made the right decision but is still an asshole about ratting you out - thats a decision you should make on your own. Underage marijuana usage has proven to be harmful to the developing body; if you're underage and weren't planning to confess, continued smoking could've degraded your growth. If you're over 18... FYL. And I hope you were both very, very, very, very, very seriously mentally addicted for him to have felt the need to come out to his parents about you AND him. Research has shown marijuana to be less harmful than alcohol or cigarettes when used moderately as recreation (adult usage only), and it cannot become physically addictive or harmful until you smoke it pretty much 24/7. This is exactly why weed needs to be legalized and regulated, and its exact health specifications broadcast to the public along with an age limit. Too many people are still stuck in the ignorant "weed is deadly" times, and its usage and reputation are both being abused. Do some research before going around stereotyping and condemning every weed-happy person - the reason for its initial prohibition was heavily influenced by racial and political matters, NOT its health risks. It's reputation as a serious health hazard originates from distorted and over-exaggerated stories released by the Federal Bureau of Narcotics that were later testified as false. But the harm was done; clearly certain 21st century Americans still choose to hide behind 20th century stories and refuse to do a simple Internet search.

ganja is safer than all the other shit they try to sell to us for medical use. plus if it doesnt have any side effects beside munchies (which you can choose not to eat its not like you HAVE to.) why not use it just to use it? everyone who chooses to use it should be able to without being judged having to hide in fear of being caught or losing their jobs.

btw...if your soooooo smart you should realize that with all the propaganda out these days there no way on earth majiuana will EVER be leaglized...i respect you though, you look toward a bright and shinning future, however you forget about the cesspool of government and propaganda, such as this site, and you must realize it is super gule, you'll never reach that future of legeal weed.
