YDI for doing something illegal. I know the rest of you are like "OMFG THERE'S NOTHING WRONG WITH POT", but at the end of the day it's still illegal. And a lot of things illegal tend to piss off parents, especially when they find out a long-ass time after it happened. Granted it sucks that your friend ratted you out, that's what you get.

Throughout the year I stayed with him, whenever he would get "high" he'd become even more violent then when he was sober, and abuse me. I've had a few ribs broken, a broken nose, I've gotten punched, slapped, kicked, whipped with a backscratcher, bit, he burned with his zippo, scratched, strangled and sometimes he'd try to suffocate me. I also can't forget the time where we had the house to ourselves for a few days, and he locked me in a closet while his cousin & he were both high. And there was the time I made the mistake of telling him that I might be pregnant while he was high, and he started to punch me in the stomach and tried to attack me with scissors. When he was helping me move, I asked him to take my fish and newts out to the vehicle while he was high, and he threw them on the road and laughed when someone ran over them. I dated a few other people that smoked pot, and they ranged from violently abusive, to sexually abusive, whereas when I was with people that drank, they never acted abusively towards me.

too bad your parents have such closed minds... perhaps they need to roll one up!!!! perhaps one day you will be able to smoke a big fat joint with them! don;t blame your friend for their parents' poor choices. i tell my mom everything! she loves me and accepts me for who i am. peeps who are putting down others for smoking herb also suffer from closed (and quite small) minds. i am getting a phd and i smoke ganja all day every day, especially when i have an exam. i do so legally in oregon and in califronia. reminder: 1/4 of the states have legalized cannabis! (for medical use): IT'S LEGAL EVERYONE!

All the people saying YDI for being a pothead are obviously either 12 or have never tried it. well over 50% of the people I know smoke weed. Many of them are successful and yada yada yadda. about the FML~ sucks man, that's pretty low on your friends part fo completly dragging you down with him, you should retaliate somehow.

hopefully it will teach you not to smoke pot. or make it harder to. Props to your friend for honesty and for doing the right thing.
