Today, I had a job interview. Everything was going well until I noticed a picture of a dog hanging on the wall, which reminded me of the ending of Marley and Me. I started crying and had to be escorted out. FML

Today, my best friend decided to get herself a new puppy. My dog passed away last week. She named it the same name and got the same breed as mine was. She sees nothing wrong and can’t understand why I’m upset. In fact, she tells me to “stop being a Debbie Downer.” FML

Today, I was playing with my dog, teasing her, to cheer myself up after being dumped by my girlfriend. My dog bit me hard and I had to go to hospital. The dog has to be put down. FML

Today, for National Pet Day, we had a pet show and tell at work. A colleague of mine showed us a picture of her lemon tree. I remember she had a dog and wondered why she didn’t bring him, so I asked why didn’t she show her dog. Turns out he passed away a month ago. She burst into tears and ran off. FML

that's horrible! my family has had my dog for 18 years. that's longer than ive even been alive. we put him down in December and I cant even imagine watching that movie ever again.

Weird 'cause a special dog that was in my family for many years died on the day (or night I should say) before my brother's birthday back in 2009. We had watched Marley and Me earlier that day... I don't think I'll ever watch that movie again .....

Same here. I saw the movie when it first came out, but after I had to put my dog to sleep last year, I probably won't ever be able to make myself watch it again.
