Wow that's pretty shallow of her. I'd imagine if she's that concerned with other guys while you were dating she would not have been the most loyal girl, you likely are lucky to be free of her.

I think that you just dodged a bullet. But in all seriousness, it's sad how social media has taken our self value away. Many kids of this generation won't know how to love themselves without 60 likes on their photo, and that's just really sad. I love pictures and of course it makes me feel good when they get likes, but any dependence upon that is way more deep and unnecessary. I can't fix the shallow attitudes of many people now, but I will at least make damn sure that one day my kids will never base their self esteem off of the number of likes. It's not healthy, after all. But that's that cost of growing up in the technological era, I guess.

I think you deserved it, cause you were dating a self-centered shallow person on the first place. But at least, you are not anymore! Congrats. Learn from this and make sure to date someone who cares for love, and not for "popularity" and likes the next time. ;)
