She's telling you because you are the "sweet" guy who will now take care of her and her bastard. She puts out for tools but she'll let you get a taste now because of this accident. "You're such a sweet caring guy. I'm glad I have you around. I'll never be that stupid again." I'd say run, but chances are, if you are that guy you'll just be the sucker. Then, when you are watching the kid, she'll be letting another tool tap that.

Well said # 141. I am pro choice, but personally could never get an abortion. Abortion is NOT an easy decision for a woman to come by. Whether someone decides to have an abortion, put the child up for adoption, or raise the child theirself, its not going to be an easy decision to make. As far as reasons for abortion, its typically not a "whoops, I got preggers again" situation. The woman might not be ready. She might be too young. She may have found out that the child wion't develop fully in the womb and, essentially, will die during birth or shortly thereafter (not to mention, in such cases, the birthing process can be EXTREMELY painful for the child). Also, for anyone who can simply say "adoption is murder", I hope you are as passionate about the child OUTSIDE of the womb as you are about the fetus. If you want to fight for their right to live, don't give up after birth. Fight for their right to a happy, healthy life. OP, sorry about the news. Try to stay positive and, based on whether this stemmed from before your relationship started or during your relationship, try to be supportive. Imagine how crazy her life must be right now.

hey i think you should make sure shes actually pregnant home tests are not 100% acurate and if she is and u care for her offer to help her out a bit but make sure ur not in a relationship and your not supporting either one of them you can just stay friends.....depending on how long your relationship lasted with her...

Whatever you do, DO NOT SIGN THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE. If you do, you will be LEGALLY LIABLE FOR SUPPORTING THE BABY, long after the mother has ditched you. You might love her now, but for the love of all that is right and good, DO NOT SIGN THE BIRTH CERTIFICATE. I've seen a hundred guys get screwed in court because they signed the birth certificate. DO NOT SIGN. The judge would ask "Did you sign the birth certificate?" The poor schlub would say "Yes." Judge hammers gavel, makes guy liable for support. DO NOT SIGN.
