Today, my grandpa, a married high school teacher, got arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with a female student. Hearing the news, I called my grandma crying. Not only is he most likely going to jail, but in seven months I will have a new aunt who is eighteen years younger than me. FML

I got it. You are going to be 18 when grandpa's love child, your aunt will be born. Grandpa's going to jail, so the baby mama is underage. Yeah, having an aunt that is younger than you is odd, but what is really ****** up is that you are older than your "new" grandma, or your new grandma is your grandpa's prison bitch. He's got more options than you do ;)

No, any additional child your great-great grandparent(s) might produce would be a great aunt or a great uncle. There's no way you can get another grandparents, except through marriage, but then they would be step-grandparents.

don't be so hard on the people who misunderstood this. i guarantee at least half of the people here had to stop and think about it to figure out what he was talking about. Long and short of it: grandpa knocked up the student. the student will be giving birth in 7 months. grandpa isn't marrying the student. the OP is referring to the fact that when the student gives birth to her child in 7 months, the child will be his/her aunt. The OP will be 18 yrs old when the baby is born, not 35 as someone suggested (this person obviously got confused and thought the "aunt" was the underaged harlot)

well, that's tough to say. In my town, the citizens are sheltered pretty well from news like that. We rarely hear about rapes unless it comes up in a statistics thing in the newspaper and you really only hear about potential rapists or child molesters if they haven't been caught. This grandpa sounds pretty caught in the act if you ask me. So maybe the town decided not to report on it since he's been picked up for it. just a little insight.

Don't believe this story for ONE MINUTE. I had a baby girl...didn't know the sex until almost 5 months...so how the hell does this girl know she is going to have an aunt when the "skanky hs *****" is only two months along? Anyone with half a brain would realize this and know it is NOT possible at 2 months to know a baby's gender...nice try on the fake story though

Maybe she's assuming, maybe the grandad has only ever had female children, her mother, any aunts. So she could have assumed it was going to be female. So FYTP, by the way calling fake and decrying a story with barely any facts to back it up is against the rules.

I still think its made up. Nothing in the story makes sense at all...why should anyone believe it? Clearly there are plenty of facts...you cannot assume that the baby will be a girl based on what old man pervert had for kids. If she had said uncle/or aunt the story COULD be plausible. But she also goes on to state that it's a sob story for her...what about her grandmother? She is the victim...the one who has to deal with her husbands infidelity. Nothing adds up.

I still think she's just assuming. I'm not saying that she's basing her assumption on what other gender children her grandfather has had, I just think she's assuming. It's a pretty well known fact that you cant possibly know the gender in the first 2 months of pregnancy so if it was made up it would be the worst made up thing I'd heard. And as I had posted in reply to someone else getting riled up about grandma being the victim, the OP probably realizes her grandma is the victim in the situation but, like with any HUGE change in your life, is probably overwhelmed and a little scared and that's what compelled her to cry to her grandma. I mean, with almost every FML, It's all just guesses but that's how I would explain it. so give the OP a break, its probably pretty shocking and really scary.

I had a highschool shop teacher who got caught porking a female student in the tool room about 15 years ago. He somehow kept his job, divorced his wife, and married the student. The new wife is the most jelous, neurotic, and untrusting woman I have ever met. The highlight of my senoir year was screwing with her daily. I have no idea what the moral of the story is, just a little shoutout to all the old men pulling in young women.
