Today, my grandpa, a married high school teacher, got arrested for having an inappropriate relationship with a female student. Hearing the news, I called my grandma crying. Not only is he most likely going to jail, but in seven months I will have a new aunt who is eighteen years younger than me. FML

I got it. You are going to be 18 when grandpa's love child, your aunt will be born. Grandpa's going to jail, so the baby mama is underage. Yeah, having an aunt that is younger than you is odd, but what is really ****** up is that you are older than your "new" grandma, or your new grandma is your grandpa's prison bitch. He's got more options than you do ;)

Googling "high school teacher arrested female student" the only recent news article I find is http://www.sltrib.com/news/ci_14265734 . Anyone find anything that looks more plausible?

It's funny that you mention it. I grew up in Southeastern Ohio and the girls basketball coach (and Drivers Ed instructor) ran away with one of his player. Jesus! She was a beautiful woman as a 16-year-old -- hardly anyone could blame the guy! He already had a daughter that was a year older than her. We found them working at a Rax in Lancaster. Makes you wonder about Ohio. Makes me wonder if I should go back;)

Maybe the OP called her grandma crying because she was in shock, or because she knew her grandma and the rest of the family was devestated. Apparently, many of you have never dealt with anything outside of your inflated onanism.

I'm sorry. I can only guess the shock and disillusionment that you must be feeling. Your grandpa has really let his family down in a big way. If you need to not have contact with him, at least for a while, that's definitely okay.
