Today, my house got broken into. My brand new laptop was stolen, along with my flatscreen TV, digital camera, external hard drive and some clothes. Wanting to drown my sorrows in the Ben and Jerry's Phish Food ice cream in the freezer, I opened the door to find that it too had been stolen. FML

Wow... that is just terrible. They kicked you while you were down (there's you 4th cliche, #10). Also, I love how people think this is fake because there's obviously no way you could have a second computer, or be posting from a mobile phone, or public computer.

not the ben & jerry's!!!!! that sucks, i love phish food ice-cream. Apparently so do the people who robbed your house. that is a definite fyl. it's like adding insult to injury.

When I lived with my parents, their house was broken into (by our neighbor's ex-con son, we're pretty sure, but the police couldn't prove it)....he stole frozen burritos and packages of hot dogs out of our freezer. As well as my vibrator. Needless to say, I did not report that to the insurance company.
