nooooo call your son chris wang
Kratos isn't a made up name. its mythological, your son will be named after the god of war, not just a "cartoon character"
#92 Chill the **** out. You want CPS to be involved because of a name? People name their kids after fictional characters all the time and it's not because they want attention from their child's name. Maybe the saw the name and liked it? My older brother's middle name was Lando (Star Wars), #77's daughter is named Aerith (Final Fantasy VII), and one of my professor's named her son Ganon (Zelda). So what's the problem?
Its unique, I don't see the problem of the name. Why give a boring generic name? My name is difficult and annoying, but I don't think its stupid, at least its not something common and like 6 out of 20 kids in a class will have it and so parents/teachers have to find nicknames to differentate the children. I have an Irish name and a Chinese name, I am American. Whats the matter with Greek?
I say you keep the name. It's original and completely bad ass. It's also not JUST from the video game, so you can justify it with the whole mythology thing. My parents named me "Ementi" and the only downside to having an original name is when you meet new people. You have to repeat your name a few times so they can pronounce it right, and people ALWAYS ask where it's from and what it means, but once that's out of th way everyone is completely fine with it. I've actually made friends just by having an original name. And if this whole "not getting anywhere in life because you have a weird name" bullshit is true, then FML. But it's not. So stfu. I think there are way more upsides to having an original name then there are downsides. I'll bet your kid will like having an original name more then some old boring one that 638478642 other kids have.
God of war is awesome and so is kratos best name everrr
That is awesome. And besides, it could be a worse name.
Kratos is an awesome name, not an FML at all.

i dont get the "i name one kid, you name the other" mentality. why dont you just work together to find a name you both like?
"Make-believe cartoon character"?! Whoa whoa whoa, you've gone too far, there. Besides, it's a totally cool name, you must admit.
