Today, my husband and I were talking about names for our expectant child. I told him since I named our daughter he could name our son. He's decided on a name from 'God of War'. My son is going to be named after a make-believe cartoon character - Kratos. FML

lol @ 22. Alma!! kratos is a cool name though, but i could never name a kid something like that. i like to stick with generic names

YDI. I've never understood why parents choose to let one person name each child, then they get pissed when the other person picks a stupid name. The child belongs to both of you, pick a name together so this won't happen!

YDI for letting him? That kid has to grow up with that name and stick with it for the rest of his life. That's pretty unfair of you to do that to him just because you got to name the first child. Speak up, for the kid's sake. He might appreciate the originality when he's like, 20, but he's going to be made fun of really bad in elementary school. Don't put him through that just because you made a deal with your husband.

**** yeah, number 8. Kratos is a total badass who kills the Gods themselves. Who WOULDN'T want to name their son Kratos? Additionally, plenty of people are named Mario but I doubt they're all like oh damn it's also a name in a video game. Just tell your kid it's the Greek God of Strength and it's a badass name. And he'll be like, sweet. And if I ever meet him I'll give him a high-five for being awesome.
