As long as it doesn't last too long this shouldn't be too bad. He clearly cared deeply for his cat and is grieving.
Sorry to hear about your cat OP. Maybe you need to buy a new pet to help your husband.
You shouldn't get a new pet immediately. You should grieve for your pets. They aren't just things you can replace.
I never said replace. I'm saying add a new member to the family.
I wouldn't consider adopting until the husband is ready to bring home a new furbaby. (Adopt or rescue, not buy.) Some people have to wait a long time while others don't. I adopted a cat two weeks after my sweet Miss Kitty died, but that's because I was lonely and there are so many cats who need a home. OP, there's a website called PetLoss.com that might help your husband. It helped me in my time of grief. As for his tendency to call you by the cat's name, ignore him if he doesn't call you by your name. But try to be supportive. It's never easy losing a pet, even when the loss was expected.
Want to give him a feel of your nails in revenge?
That's a little insane. Sorry OP, FYL.
what a pussy.
What did your comment accomplish other than make you look like an ass..?
I wonder what was kitty´s name Maybe knowing that we have a better picture of the situation.
Sounds like a new cat is in order.
Not exactly sure how that would help him
