Today, at work, I helped out an employee who was having trouble. I even bought her a bottle of water. After the production manager decided to fire her on the spot, she went out in the parking lot and broke into several cars, including mine. FML

So you ran over an old lady, and this being America, she's going to sue your company and take them for everything they're worth, so of course they fired you. If it had been a reasonable country, she wouldn't have sued, and you're work wouldn't have felt the need to fire you for losing them 100 million dollars.
