Today, my little girl spoke her first word. It was ''Daddy''. Daddy left before she was born and she has never met him before. FML

Most children will say Da-Da first. It isn't necessarily associated with Daddy. Sorry about the sperm donor, though.

babies are stupid, she probably doesn't even know what that means. trust me I used to be a baby.

Sorry but I've got two arbitrary questions. What does OP stand for? And how long does it take for an fml to be posted once you submit it? Thanks

overwhelming pineapple. Uh huh. And why not?

Cody, as a staff member, I can assure you that it actually means Oh Pocahontas.

Cody, Sirin is clearly overworked and underslept. Moderating all the moronic comments around here will do that to a body, so I can't fault her for her mistake. OP means Outrageous Poptart. And if you really think all FMLs get published eventually, I have some oceanfront property in Austria I'd love to sell you.

daddy and dada are much easier for them to pronounce. don't be offended most babies say dada first.

ok sooo??? u can't blame the child for this??? this wasn't even worth putting up on this. u should have found someone better to have a child with. instead of acting like this now

Ow! That has really gotta sting. I'm sure this is very small consolation, but the Da sound is usually the first one mastered by babies. When it isn't repeated back to her, but other sounds are, she'll drop it and learn new sounds. Good luck!!

um this happens on a modern family episode exept the baby said mommy rather than daddy

well you obviously have bad taste in men because if ud have picked a winner we all wouldnt be here right now would we??? Hopefully ur daughter grows up learning more about picking the right guys than u did!!
