Today, my mom and I went to Winn-Dixie. I told her I was going to a different isle 5 minutes later I hear my name on the intercom to go to the front of the store. As I go I see my mom crying, she comes and hugs me and tells me she thought I was lost. Im 22, I had my cell phone, and I drove there. FML

Winn-Dixies still exist, I live in central Florida and there are two within 15 min of my house. It is true that they suck, especially compared to Publix. As for this guy, FYL for sure. My mom might have panicked this much if she lost me for 5 minutes when I was the age of, I don't know, five?

(It's aisle, btw. When I read this at first, I was super confused)

#129, Winn-Dixie (probably) doesn't exist outside of the US. I live in Canada and although I could assume the OP meant a grocery store, I can see people thinking of it as the dog from the book/movie (I've never read or seen it though. merely heard of it). To those who are freaking out about the misspelling of "aisle", it's not THAT big of a deal. Just because they're 22 doesn't mean they have to be perfect at spelling. My dad's 53 and comes to me to ask how some words are spelled because he's not sure. Or they could have simply just have been typing fast and not noticed the typo. Another thing, my dad also takes my grandmother (who lives alone) shopping every saturday. Sure, my grandmother's 84, but it's still basically the same thing; adult child taking parent grocery shopping. Maybe the OP's mother is aging? The OP's mother could quite possibly be in her 60's, although it is more likely that she's only late 40's to late 50's. Perhaps their mom didn't hear them telling her they were going to a different aisle (maybe due to hearing not being perfect as she gets older). I do have to say FYL though, as the OP's mom DID use the intercom to call them. =P

at least you know your mom loves you! ;)

I believe she may have started "the change." But funny nonetheless.
