Today, my mother shared my phone number with my brother, despite my explicit wishes that she didn't. He immediately went and put it on Craigslist and several other websites. This is the fourth time I've had to change my number for that very same reason. FML

I guess its time to stop giving it to your mother and whip your brothers a@@!!

I would do the same thing back to him. May not be the most mature approach but he'll probably learn his lesson.

Do the same to him, and he'll stop. It works! :)

Lesson: dont tell your mom your number.

Maybe you should change it and block the number for when your mum calls

Put his ssn and anything else that would essentially destroy his life online.

YDI after mom sold you out the second time, but I feel sorry your family is so dysfunctional. Can't trust mom OR your brother? Sorry to hear. :(

you'd think the second time u would learn not to give ur number to your mother; hell maybe(key word) the third time. a forth time is just stupid if u ask me

I'm not gonna say YDI, because really....she's your mother. But I do have to say that after the second, or third time, you should have told her, "Look, this is the last time I'm giving you my number. This is what my brother does with my personal cell number when you give it to him." Detail it out for her (again, if you already have). Then say, "If it happens again and I am once more forced to change my number...I'm not going to give it to you. I love you, but I am tired of having to change my number because he's posting it places he has no business using my number for." That way, she would know you mean business and would have no one to blame but herself. Tell her that now, and just hope you don't have to change it a fifth time.

Well, just stop giving your number to your mother. And just phone them with your number hidden.
