Your mom must hate the environment. Electric cars and hybrids are worse for the environment then Hummers. Earth killer.
Earth killer. hybrids and electric cars are horrible for the environment. Drive a hummer instead.
Awww that's awful op..
Sticks and stones may beak my bones, but electric cars really take the cake.
I just lol'd so hard I farted!
why did not you find the other way to kill your kitty? not so horrible...
omg ur cat will probably die,...I feel bad for u!!!! that's why ur suppose to keep cats inside
My grandma's cat cries at the door for hours if we don't let him out. When he does go out, he mostly stays on her lot which is in a really quiet neighbourhood. He's neutered so he's NOT breeding with other cats, and he has medicine that protects him from heart worms, fleas, ticks etc. She doesn't let him go out at night or in extreme weather conditions (obviously) and he's never been gone for more than a couple hours. It's not really a problem and I don't see how that makes her an irresponsible cat owner. Cat's are smart animals, they can handle being outside for a little while.
Ok, so if I followed this line of logic and applied it to children, we should keep them inside at all times to keep them from being exposed to risk. They would after all live longer if they were never exposed to disease, people or Amy risk of harm. Cats are predators, yes they can and will live inside and some even prefer it. It is however not natural behavior for them.
why don't you make your comment I little longer I don't think you made you point clear enough for rambom fml readers to understand what your getting at.

Um, excuse me but hypo-allergenic (hypoallergenic) means below normal or slightly allergenic, not hypo=shot+ allergenic=allergen. Allergy shots are called just that or allergen immunotherapy. Grammar/spelling trolls scare me, so now am I a dictionary thumper? FML lol.
Honestly, I completely agree with #112 (wherever the **** their comment went) Just because your grandmother's cat *typically* stays in her yard, doesn't mean it won't get a hankering to go exploring. Which it obviously does, and there's no telling where he could end up or what could happen to him. And even if he doesn't leave the yard, Op's cat got run over and killed IN THEIR DRIVEWAY. If the cat were inside, it obviously would not have been in danger of being run over at all. And an allergy to cats is a poor excuse as well. If you are that allergic, then you should be responsible enough to realize that you are not fit to own cats. Endangering their lives because you "love them oh so much but can't be around them for extended periods of time so you throw them outside" is complete bullshit. I have cats, and they like to go outside. But we have a closed in porch where they can sit and be happy, and we don't have to worry about them being killed by an animal or a car. If you insist on letting your cats go outside, get them a proper enclosure where they will be safe. There are FAR too many cats that end up as roadkill or coyote lunch because of CARELESS owners.
Poor little cat.. I'm happy not to be one, now.
poor kitty :(
