Today, my parents came to visit me at the ranch I work at. They're scared to death of horses, but I was explaining how they are almost completely harmless. I was showing them how to work around the horse without getting kicked. As they relaxed, the horse kicked me. I now have a broken leg. FML

That sucks. Something similar happened to me once. I was in my playset, showing one of the neighborhood kids how safe and not scary it was up on the upper level and in the covered slide, when I got attacked by a hive of wasps who had made their home up there.

What are you talking about? The girl gets kicked by a horse and ends up in the hospital with a broken leg. That seems to follow the FML pretty closely...

The point of the FML was that she was trying to prove a point to her parents, and it directly backfired on her. It wasn't "Today, I got kicked by a horse and broke my leg. FML."

The horse is apologetic, which shows it didn't mean to/wouldn't normally do it, ie because it is harmless. Bit too subtle for ya?

hahaha!!! This reminds me of something that happened to me!! I was riding a horse around and it bucked. I was also riding barebacked. Me, being not used to riding horses, was like OMG THERE"S NOTHING TO HOLD!!!!! and fell off. I ended up fracturing the radial head in my elbow. I did not know that when you pull on a horses mane, it doesn't hurt them so do not blame me!!! Anyway, hope your leg gets better.=)

You must not be a horse rider. It does NOT hurt the horses to grab on their mane, surprisingly enough.

hah, once I was on my Grandpa's horse, and my little cousin shot a pop gun right by me, and the horse freaked out and bucked me off! Ouch.
