Today, my parents confiscated my iPod, because the parents' group they go to came to the conclusion that music is a gateway to anti-social behavior. FML

anti-social? ...yea, that's why crowds in the thousands go to concerts, and why friends crank their favorite songs in the car and sing along with it... i'd vote fyl, but i think i feel worse for your parents... for being gullible, ignorant twits. so... f your parents' lives.

Parents can be so idiotic. Fyl OP, I would hate to get my music taken away. At least you can sing in the shower or something. It's better than nothing (:

To prove them wrong, you should appeal to their sense of reason by using quotes from the bible, then organise a school dance just outside of the town limits, and take the Reverend's daughter. Don't forget to teach your ungainly hick of a best friend to dance first. Oh, and squeeze in time for a game of chicken on tractors to win one over your love rival. After all, you're a big city kid in a small town. They say you'll never win, but you know you have to.

FYL for having parents who think that you can't listen to music without an iPod.

Geez, at least you're not posting schizophrenic anti-government rantings on YouTube! Your parents don't know how good they have it... Buy a cheap mp3 player on woot.com and hide it. Also, this will definitely make you move out of your house before you turn 30!

Well, if you listen to some of the hip-hop crap, they sort of have a point.

The OP should remind his/her parents that music leads to antisocial behavior every time they hum, whistle, have music at religious services, or are within earshot of anyone who does any of those.
