Today, my parents saw my report card. Now, they refuse to buy me my the new computer I've always wanted because my grades had 'slipped'. I made honor roll for three terms, and was kept off for the fourth for a single bad grade. I failed gym. FML

Having your grades "slip" is one thing, but FAILING gym? ydi.

To pass gym don't you have to just show up? Even if you aren't athletic all you have to do is make an ounce of effort. This feels like YDI.

Maybe you shouldn't be getting a computer if you're failing gym, it'll only make it worse

You're all stupid. In many schools, gym teachers are very strict to make it seem like they have a hard job.

omg, failing gym? But that was always my most fun class! Getting up and moving was so great after spending most of the day sitting on my ass in a classroom. Maybe it's best you don't get a computer, because you'll probably just waste too much time on it. Get out and exercise more so you can raise the gym grade up!

Reading through all these comments remembers me of what assholes people can be. You don't know anything of the OP. You don't know where they life, how hard it might be to pass gym in that country. And even if they are American, you don't know if they have a desease like I have and which is hunting me down until death. Assholes like all of you are the reason I have those bad memories of my very own past. Not everyone can be as sporty as you all pretend to be. I am ashamed of you.

it's just a computer. you'll live. or buy your own. lol #106

ok. if you're failing gym, you're either fat, a slacker, or both. I'm not athletic at all and my gym teacher is a lesbian and i still managed to get an A in her class. I say if you want the computer and your parents are stupid enough to not give it to you because of that one class, then WORK for it because there is no changing your parents mind.

Wow you suck dick, all you gotta do is show up with pants on

#83, I don't know. But if the OP is American, it's pretty sad. #76, that's your own fault for not properly fixing the problem. If you were actually at the hospital, I guarantee the school, by law, has to be more lenient with you, especially in the case of asthma. Your problem could have easily been resolved, even if the Gym teacher was a douche, that can be taken to the school board.

Lmao. I got an 80% in PE because we got graded on how well we could play and do stuff. If we didn't run a certain time on the mile, we got a 6/10. Same thing if we didn't do enough sit ups, pull ups, etc. Also, if she felt we didn't participate enough, we got docked points. I got docked points even when I was participating a lot because she played favorites and didn't pay attention the whole time. It's not really that hard to fail PE.
