Today, my parents saw my report card. Now, they refuse to buy me my the new computer I've always wanted because my grades had 'slipped'. I made honor roll for three terms, and was kept off for the fourth for a single bad grade. I failed gym. FML

Having your grades "slip" is one thing, but FAILING gym? ydi.

To pass gym don't you have to just show up? Even if you aren't athletic all you have to do is make an ounce of effort. This feels like YDI.

yeah since you failed gym you don't need a computer. Get off your lard butt and play some sports fatty

yeah dude, stop playing dungeons and dragons. we all know that's what you were gonna use the computer for. worst report EVER.

Getting an F in a course is a big deal, no matter what the class is. Your parents made the right choice.

Whether or not your gym class was easy or hard... do you really deserve a computer for simply not failing your classes?

You failed gym? That's beyond an epic fail. You fail at life.

I can relate to this, although I didn't fail any classes in high school, nor have I ever gotten anything under an 80 in high school. However, once in gr 10, I received an 81 in history (lowest mark received) and my parents went ballistic. I had "apparently" been going out too much, and I spent too much time playing soccer and basketball (I was on the provincial team for both, so I'm not quite sure how that could've been helped seeing as I had practices everyday =S) .... they grounded me for 2 months to get me back on track.... So dont worry man, parents are usually unreasonable. Just deal with it and pass next time ^^. Then you'll get your PC. =)

How can you fail GYM? I'm skinny, underweight, and way out of shape. I get good grades for trying my best and participating. I get a B/B+ easily at P.E. in report cards.
