Today, my parents saw my report card. Now, they refuse to buy me my the new computer I've always wanted because my grades had 'slipped'. I made honor roll for three terms, and was kept off for the fourth for a single bad grade. I failed gym. FML

Same thing different taste

Today, I got my report card from school. I pulled my grade up in Algebra from a D to an A. My parents told me that they never expected me to accomplish this, and good job but they've already enrolled me in boarding school. So much for all that extra credit and staying late after school to study. FML

Today, I was threatened to be held back because of the lack of teacher-parent communication. My parents refuse to sign my report card because of my one mark below ninety percent. My teacher was dead serious about failing me. FML

Today, I got my grades back. They were all 98's and 99's with also a 104 (extra-credit). I got refused from entering an honors club, because it's "impossible to get above a hundred in a math class". I even got investigated for cheating. FML

Today, my parents are freaking at me because I just got my report and I failed my first year of college. They told me they have never been more disappointed in me. I have to tell them that I'm also pregnant. FML

Today, I got my report card, and thought I did pretty well with a GPA of 3.58. My parents freaked out over the 3 B's I had, and proceeded to look up which colleges would still accept me. I just finished my first quarter as a freshman in high school. FML

Today, I found out that my parents lied to me about my GPA so they could go back on our agreement of "3.0 or above or summer school" and had no intention of honoring the agreement anyway. I've been in summer school doing catch-up for kicks. FML

Today, my mom found out that I’ve been faking my exam grades, turning my 30s to 80s and 40s to 90s on the paper exams. She got access to my online student portal and saw my real grades. I'm grounded for the rest of the school year. FML

Today, my math teacher brought his laptop to tally up all our scores for our report card. He then displayed the results on a big screen in front of the whole class. The ones who failed were marked yellow. I was the only one marked yellow. FML

To pass gym don't you have to just show up? Even if you aren't athletic all you have to do is make an ounce of effort. This feels like YDI.

I don't care what other comments say, I completely feel you failing gym. I failed gym in middle school because I have severe asthma and got pneumonia three times during the semester, could never attend class because I was in the hospital, and failed it.

#16 is an idiot. "Your parents are stingy. just fail the rest of ur classes too man. we'll c how they like tht." Really? The OP wouldn't be hurting her PARENTS by doing that. It's not like she is going to get revenge on them by that. All she'd do is screw up her own future. And not buying her a computer is not stingy. Maybe they're having financial issues... the economy's horrible. Maybe they want to teach her to EARN things. Ever think of that? Kids have such a ridiculous sense of entitlement these days. They earned that money, not you.

76, you couldn't have gotten a note ? I have arthritis, and I always had a note. I couldn't attend gym in middle school, but in high school they had - for want of a better term - "special needs" gym. Instead of running laps and playing sports, I rode an exercise bike and lifted weights. :]

There's no way you failed gym unless you never went. Gym is a joke, everybody knows that. You deserve to be punished for messing up your GPA because of such an easy class.
