Spoiled Bitch. 1) get a job, buy your own computer. i had to buy my own car and my parents are both "uppers" of their respective companies 2) i didn't even get a comp until college, and it is only a laptop 3) you failed ******* gym. maybe it is good you don't have a comp. get off your ass and do something.
I think this is untrue.
I don't why he deserves it, all you have to do to fail gym in my school is not bring your gym clothes for 3 days or be absent for 3 days. He's on the honor roll for the 3 terms which means hes obviously smart so I don't understand why he would deserve it. Like now it doesn't matter if you stand around and do nothing, all they care about is if you get changed so its not like hes super nonathletic or something. But yea all the old people here don't comment on how gym is because its definitely changed since you were kids.
are you ****** in the head? if you failed gym you shouldn't be on the computer all the time. i wouldn't buy you a computer either ******* spoiled kid ****
#61, that's very possible. Yes, we all know American schools have very lax PE programs (basically show up, dress down, and pretend to participate). But other countries aren't so easygoing about it. You know, since America has such a high obesity rate, even among kids, they tend to lower the standard for Gym because otherwise some kids won't have a chance to pass. I suppose the idea is that every kid should have a chance, no matter how bad their metabolism is (and yes, some kids are fat mainly because of metabolism). It would be pretty unfair to make a class unpassable on that basis. So because of that, they tend to look at things that anybody can do, no matter how fat. These include attendance, team playing, effort, dressing down (wtf), and understanding the games played. The idea is to see whether or not you're willing to play the games and work as a team, and have a good attitude about it. It really has nothing to do with being fit, but hopefully that's an effect the class has on the participants. #15, I don't know what kind of crazy private school you went to or if you aren't American, but anatomy is generally in Health class, not Gym class. As for the OP: You deserved it. The requirements for getting a computer were keeping good grades, and you knew that, you failed to do so, and lost that privilege. How is it not your fault? Furthermore... you were on the honor roll. Whop-de-doo. It's absurdly easy to get on the honor roll in most public schools. I had some pretty stupid people on the honor roll in my school.
I can see how it's possible to fail gym. i had a gym class that took off one grade for every day that you were late or not dressed properly. So, if you were tardy or forgot your shorts four times, you failed. This was in middle school. I also had a class in high school where you had to run the mile in under a certain amount of time to pass. And classes where you had to take tests on sports rules, which they never really taught because they figured everyone already knew it. Do it for college, not the computer. Your parents need to chill out, maybe that were in financial trouble and just looking for an excuse.

Having your grades "slip" is one thing, but FAILING gym? ydi.
To pass gym don't you have to just show up? Even if you aren't athletic all you have to do is make an ounce of effort. This feels like YDI.
