Today, my parents saw my report card. Now, they refuse to buy me my the new computer I've always wanted because my grades had 'slipped'. I made honor roll for three terms, and was kept off for the fourth for a single bad grade. I failed gym. FML

Having your grades "slip" is one thing, but FAILING gym? ydi.

To pass gym don't you have to just show up? Even if you aren't athletic all you have to do is make an ounce of effort. This feels like YDI.

ohh boo hoo if you failed gym you deserved it.

first of all, honour roll is a horrible standard. nearly everybody i know gets honour roll for over 85% of their school career, so even if you got it, it's not an achievement at all. second of all, this is definitely not an FML. you FAILED A COURSE!! no matter what it is, thats bad enough and reason enough for you to not get ANYTHING. don't bitch about it because you definitely deserved it. sorry bud but this is your own fault, 100%. not an FML.

i failed P.E. (gym) because i physically couldnt participate for more than 5 minutes of light excercise per lesson. Failing something like gym when teachers rate your preformence on court isn't hard.

Gym is a made up class anyway. If you wanted to be athletic you'd do it on your own goddamn time. I was high honors my whole high school time & I constantly got 70's in gym cause I basically told my gym teacher he was teaching a bullshit class & that he could F*** off before I'd do anything.

Sounds like they just wanted an excuse not to buy it. Perhaps the FML comes from his parents stringing him along, getting his hopes up, then finding any reason to back out ? At least, that's how I read it. :] Buy your own computer, they're not THAT much. I recently bought one myself, and it runs most games just fine. [Assuming you want a new computer because you want to do something that your current one can't handle.]

#6.... Shut up and bag my groceries. Reading your post made my eyes bleed.

Great minds think alike, for sure.

It's entirely possible to fail gym if you have an ultra-douchebag teacher that marks you absent if you don't go in the lockers with everyone else.

I got a B in gym last quarter because I missed one class period and didn't make it up. Today gym teachers think that PE is a real class.... wake up. It's not.

that was completely your fault. as one of the least athletic people i have ever met, i can tell you it's basically impossible to fail gym. i've always gotten As. all you have to do is show up on time with your gym clothes and put in a little effort.
