This is not an fml. You're short and most cars are designed (from a saftey point of view) for taller people. Booster seats give you the height to be safe. This is nothing to be ashamed of. Safety is the SMART choice. Don't give in to the dumbasses who would make fun of you for using safety equipment that was designed for children but works equally well for you.
