Please go to the doctor OP. My adoptive mother had endometrosis and it made her have a really heavy period and her period never had a regular schedule.
Story of my life. Best of luck OP. Hope you are better off than me and have health insurance and can see a doc!!
I just recently had this same issue. I had a hormone imbalance. It sucked but it was an easy fix.
Maybe it's time to get off that new form of birth control.
D': FYL OP.
As everyone else has said, go see a doctor. Of course there are many things that can be contributing to your extended periods. I had mine for 5 months straight at one point. I saw a total of 5 doctors, 5 different times, was told each time it was most likely stress. Had a total of 7 ultrasounds, found nothing. I ended up changing my diet which helped out a bit. Also after you go to the doctors, if they don't find anything wrong, look up Vitex, it is a vitamin that regulates periods and has completely balanced mine out finally. Hopefully everything goes well, I know how horrible it can be.
Go to your GYNO or some kind of doctor ASAP. They is not normal and might be your body's way of saying so.
