Today, my recently married friend took off her wedding ring to make bread. Being single and pathetic, I tried it on to see what it would look like. It got stuck on my finger. The ER doctor had to cut it off. FML

You shouldn't find out what it looks like until you put your own on. Next, you'll be sleeping with her husband just to find out what that feels like, right? I hope they don't have to cut him off you.

Some countries would consider that you basically performed a divorce ceremony by taking the woman's ring and cutting it. Congratulations on destroying this brand new marriage, you insenitive wench. I hope you're proud of yourself.

Dammit. I wasn't referring to you, iiCaptain. There was a different #61 that attempted to correct Sirin's grammar.

VERY poor wording. No one cuts off fingers to remove rings, but you made it sound that way for a "better" FML post inm which you lok like a victim. It's your friend who's having an FML. All you have is a huge YDI. You rudely took her wedding ring without permission, stupidly put it on your finger and got yourself stuck, and then selfishly caused (yes, caused, because if it went in, then surely it could have come off with enough liquid soap and patience) the ring be damage to have it removed from you. HUGE YDI.

oh, get real. The OP's wording is fine. Every usage of the word 'it' in that paragraph was in reference to the ring. There is no reason why that would change in the last sentence. "I tried IT on to see what IT would look like. IT got stuck on my finger. The ER doctor had to cut IT off". Besides, even if the OP had used the pronoun badly, I am sure it'd just be accidentally and not on purpose... a majority of people today do not know how to structure sentences/paragraphs with pronouns and often use them badly.

Who the hell try's on someone else's ring, get your own. If you can't deal with being lonely do volunteer work and talk to people, just not the physco ones

It meaning your finger or the ring? I dont know if you ever learned what vague pronouns can do, but this is an example.

Am I the only person who have always heard that it's bad luck to wear (or even try on) someone else's wedding band…

maybe you should've tried some lubrication first? shame on the ER doctor if he/she didn't try that either. if you did try and it didn't work, then FYL you must have some chubby-ass fingers...
