Are you sure it's just your roommate who's a ****?
That aint your fault Dont feel bad kuz its not your problem If you're an asshole to people don't expect a helping hand when you need it You did something i would probably do Thats too bad what the situation is though I hate to say it but maybe that will teach your roommate a lesson not to be a c#nt
Ya know, not adding the whole "****" part, might have made you deserve this a little less. I mean obviously you didn't know and it's not your fault, but really, op?
So if the roommate wasn't a **** that would have make OP a better person in your eyes?
It's a strong word but FML's are limited in space and she probably didn't want to write a paragraph on why the roommate is a terrible person just for the benefit of readers. Easier to just be blunt and say it.
asshole
fyl? a bit selfish of an ass there. your poor roomie.
I don't understand why OP has to answer the phone call, first of all she's just a room mate. If anything she shouldve called for a taxi than calling around asking for a ride.
doesn't have to at all. but this is nothing to write an fml about nor do they need to name call. have a little respect for the roommate even if they're deserving of the name
I feel bad about her parents but maybe that will make her aware that she is a **** to you.
honestly roommate kinda had that coming with being a ****, but I still would have called back 10-15min late going "what's up?" just incase it was important.
Okay, To those that are saying OP has no obligation to answer her roommate because they aren't friends are right, however obligation or not she must of figured "maybe in the back of her mind" that it could possibly be something serious and OP just kinda said screw it, I don't think she should of answered out of obligation but because it's the nice thing to do, I mean even if you guys don't get along its not hard to answer and try to be civil and if it was you OP that this happened wouldn't you hope no matter how much of a **** you think your roommate is that she would answer and who knows maybe if you had answered and drove her to the she would of been thankful and maybe even nicer to you. I think this FML needs a follow-up.
It's not that big a deal not to answer a phone call though. Loads of people don't have their phone on them 24/7 or don't look at them when they're busy. People shouldn't expect everyone to answer immediately.
#46 I agree with you I don't always have my phone on me either, however OP said she had her phone and in her words, " My roommate called but she's a **** so I ignored her. " So she had it but ignored her call and if her roommate is such a **** to her she should probably of figured she was only calling for some kind of an emergency.
Not necessarily true. I have a colleague who calls people in the evening and on the weekends regarding stupid, work-related shit that by no means has to be solved in that very moment and can easily wait until the next morning. For all we know part of the roommates cuntiness could be that she makes dramatic phone calls because one of the spoons was in the fork compartment.

Usually if you don't like someone and they don't like you they wouldn't call you unless it was something important and they absolutely had to.
You shouldn't ignore your roommate because they're a ****, what if it was about the house or dorm?
