Today, my siblings came home for the weekend. At dinner, my dad started complaining at how one of my siblings had gotten fired, one was failing college, and the other was gay. He went on to say I was 17 and already had a bright future. I'm pregnant. FML

Why did you decide to get pregnant at 17? Did you miss the lesson on how babies are made and contraception works? Apologies if you're the 0.1% that still got knocked up in spite of being on the pill and him using a rubber.

@ #3, you get fired because of the economy. you can get LAID OFF because of the economy or FIRED because of something you did to deserve it. @ OP, i don't know enough about your family to make any judgements about your father or siblings, but it sounds like there is some kind of serious problem with how you treat each other. best of luck with your future and upcoming decisions!

Why is everyone so concerned with how she spelled college? God forbid someone made a mistake, we should lynch them for it then right. I hope next time one of you makes a spelling mistake or a grammatical error someone jumps all over you for it.

Oh, come of it #39! Not everything you read on the Internet is serious. Sometimes people like to make these things called "jokes". Also, someone does jump all over me every time I mess up my grammar or spelling. It's why I'm conscious of it at all times.

This idea of required utter selflessness for women is one of the factors that keeps feminism from being entirely successful. Men can ditch whenever they want; a woman, however, is demonized if she doesn't think pregnancy is the best thing that's ever happened to her and makes her reach her ultimate potential as a woman.

my step mom was 17 pregnant in a poor family in the absolute worst part of the state she is the most sucseful person I know and quite happy with yer life having a kid in your teens is not the end of the world it makes life alot harder but not impossible only selfish and lazy poeple have horrible lifes becaus of that
