Today, my sister called me and asked if my boyfriend of 3 years had proposed to me yet. And now the surprise is ruined. FML

Wow... She didn't even think to wait until you told her? No offence, but your sister is kind of an idiot....

Maybe she should have waited until you told her..

That wasn't very nice of her. Couldn't she have just asked if there was anything new with you?! On the bright side, it's not completely ruined. You still don't know when exactly it will happen or how he will propose. Congratulations in advance!

Could have said "no" then told her later. :-)

Wonder if your divorce will go the same way.

I find it very strange that your boyfriend told your sister before you. I think that the partner should be the first to know about a possible marriage, followed by the parents, relatives and friends. You know, saves a lot of embarassement when she says 'no'.

There's a good possibility that they HAD discussed marriage, but not the exact time of the proposal. He may have asked family members about things like ring sizes.

That's true, but still... I would definitely not like the idea that my whole environment knwes my boyfriend was going to propose. Also, for ring sizes, just sneak one of her rings away.

Oh no :( your boyfriend wants to spend the rest of his life with you and is ready to make a life-long commitment, and you're not going to be surprised by it? F your life indeed.

Did she say when at what time ? It sounds to me that your a little over excited! It was just a question! And if she did really ruin your surprise then you have time to think about your answer !

This reminds me of the reporter on YouTube who ruined a footballers proposal to his cheerleader gf. So awkward to watch!

I'm guessing she did it on purpose. Lol.
