I didn't vote YDI coz that would be just mean, but you did kinda set yourself up for this. People are basically bastards. Best of luck with getting your life back together, you did it before and I'm sure you can do it again.
YDI. You never ever give up a great opportunity for someone else.
same kinda shit happened to me. WTF dude.
YDI for following her to Norway! You never EVER change your life plans, or make them, when considering another person. You can only control what you do, not what the other person does. It sucks how it turned out to be but really you should have known better.
I would say you deserved it for leaving enerything behind, except for the fact that you were already married to her, so (in theory) it was the right thing to do. Part of marriage is making sacrifices for one another. Problem is, she wasn't willing to make any sacrifices for you. Do what you can, get back home if it's possible, and do your best to forget about her. And if you can't get back home, maybe the horse farmer has a hot daughter?
I would agree with you if they were dating, but they're married. If one spouse has the need to move to a location that is not best for the other, they need to compromise. Obivously he love(d) her, so he didn't want a divorce just because she wanted, possibly needed, to go to Norway. Unfortunately, she just wound up divorcing him for a stupid reason, but I doubt he saw that coming.
Get out of there - unless you want to spend the rest of your life as a shit kicker (or shoveller as the case may be)
This is the epitome of FML stories IMO. FYL. :(

And this is why you never ever ever EVER give up career opportunities for ANYONE.
aww, how sweet, you gave up everything for her? she doesn't deserve you anyway.
