Wow! She must really like her fries! All jokes aside though, that's quiet a response she had to you taking something off her plate. It seems disproportionately violent to what the situation warrants. Have you done this before, OP, and has she asked you more than once not to take things off her plate without asking her first? If so, then hopefully you won't do that again now. If not, then she sounds plain crazy and I hope you don't stick around to see what kind of violent behavior comes next.

That's a bit of an extreme reaction to stealing fries--unless you've stolen them before and the spousal death glare and requests to keep your paws off her plate haven't worked. I'm pretty sure she didn't mean to make you bleed. She just wanted you to let her eat her food.

If this was a woman posting this about her husband, you'd see "OMG DOMP HEES ASS" and "GUUUURRL U GOTA GET A DIVORSE". And everybody will cry and be angry at the husband and feel bad for the wife. Did she accidentally stab you with the fork. I have had this happen when I was little. My dad is a huge germaphobe and he will NOT tolerate dirty, bare hands touching his food. I wanted part of his brownie and reached for it (I was 4). He went to stop my hand and forgot he had a fork in his fist. It jabbed me, I bled, and my mother screamed at my father. But I learned my lesson. Op, if you were eating together, then you chose what you ordered or you both had the same thing. Either way, her serving belongs to her. If you were hungry you should have gotten up or ordered more. It is rude and you guys probably share enough that she does not have to give up her helpings because you are still hungry. She was probably hungry too. I mean, yeah stabbing you with a fork seems like a knee jerk reaction to me but either way, she might have been over the line but you crossed the line too. I am sure she has told you before NOT to take food from her plate. You both need to sit down and discuss this because your reactions were both wrong.

You don't ever mess with a woman's food! My ex used to do this to me all the time and I did the same thing to him, fork to the hand. it's annoying, we share enough and you have your own food damnit!
