That must have been horrible. What's with people nowadays? FYL
All people have feelings. What a ******** to think that homosexuality makes u less human
In fact this person, who is supposedly a "regular" human being, seems to have no feelings of empathy.
I read something recently about a study that showed teenage boys don't start developing empathy until around 15 (it's 13 for girls). And for boys, their ability to actually recognize other peoples feelings goes down between 13 and 15. I don't know how old OP and the ignorant kid are, but that might have a little to do with it and why teens are so harsh in general.
I see what you did there. (Gay is another word for "happy.") :)
Why 36 downvoted so much?
This reminds me of when I found a box of an old hand-fan my great grandma used before she died. The box said "keep cool and be gay". Since I was 11 at the time, I thought it was the funniest thing ever.
i can't figure out why you're comment got buried. Doesn't seem to be offensive in anyway it's just factual and punny xD
so you just give them a reason to bash gay people more? please stop doing that.
Thank you for giving the anti-gay people more ammo when they tend to already think lgbt people will hit on all members of the same sex and not selectively like straight people.
Maybe I worded it wrong, but like I said, it's joking around. Most girls I know joke around in such a way to begin with, straight or not. It's not like I go up to some homophobic chick and grab her butt and tell her she has a nice rack. But I've gotten "ew, you like girls, why, that's really unnatural" ect, I try to talk to them and explain it doesn't make me any different. When they go off on a rant-and they usually do, I make a joke of it walk away. Otherwise I'd start throwing punches.
I'm bisexual so I'm definitely not uncomfortable with that. What I am uncomfortable with is being saddled with a stereotype that you seem to enjoy perpetuating. Again, thank you for reinforcing stereotypes and making my life harder, encouraging straight girls to think that lgbt individuals are all out to flirt with them. I can understand trying to negate a homophobic situation for your own comfort but there are better ways to go about it.
I enjoy a perpetuating a negative stereotype that applies to me? No. Why would anyone want that? I don't purposely hit on girls who are clearly homophobic, just to get a rise. I made that clear in one of my other comments. I do understand what you're saying, and I agree with that. What I'm saying is, when a female friend is uncomfortable being around me, just simply because they know I like girls, I try to make light of the situation. And it works. All girls that I know joke with each other like that. Usually they're afraid to joke with me like that because they think I'll take it seriously.
120, I am pansexual, I do the same thing! Nobody wants to make things worse forthe lgbt community when they do it, it's just a joke and it's 99.9% of the time taken as just that.
That's untrue, most girls identify as heterosexual. And it isn't just girls; I believe ****/bisexuality is just as common in men as it is in women, but men are less open about their feelings.
Don't worry about them, i can see they don't understand that the girls you're doing this with are okay with it. Clearly it's not meant as legitimate and humor defuses an awkward situation rather well.
You should have answered: "Yes they do, and they hate people like you."
Ahh ignorance at it's finest smh I'm sorry you have to sit next to an idiot like that
O.o wierd... just wierd... and whyyyy? ...
did he know you were gay when he said that? if he did that makes it worse but either way maybe you can educate him a little bit...
