No, our feelings are by nature more fabulous. Especially in comparison to the feelings of a barnacle.
Maybe it is his really awkward way of initiating a conversation. Perhaps he is even questioning his sexuality and doesn't know how to gather information. Or maybe he is an insensitive crusty growth. idk

Maybe he tried to ask whether gay people have the same feelings towards people "they" are attracted to, as heterosexual people have? It is still a silly question (to lump people together in those groups for that particular question), but perhaps a bit less offensive?
