Today, the last of my close friends announced she is pregnant. Meanwhile, I'm single and my nest is empty. Well, not exactly, because even my freaking cat is pregnant. FML

Today, I took in an old friend’s fat cat for a month until she finds a place to live. Turns out the cat isn’t fat, just pregnant. I found out when I found two of her dead kittens in my living room. FML

Today, I found out that me and my best friend are both pregnant. We live together, and both had one night stands with the same guy. Now we are going to be each raising his children in the same house while he has decided to "not get involved" and move to a different state. FML

I don't know why women feel like they must compete to see who gets married/involved and knocked up first. It's not a contest, wait until you are in love with a responsible guy, and you're emotionally and financially capable of taking care of another human being.

I get your point op as I'm 43 and still haven't found my "other half" and I'm allergic to cats so there goes my plan on being a cat lady. You're one step ahead of me, lol. All joking aside, I stopped "looking" and I've always been told love happens when you least expect it.....stay strong, healthy, positive and optimistic because the future can deliver GREAT things to you :-)

Hopefully OP will be able to keep them (for example, we had a feral cat wander up, only had 2 kittens so we fixed all 3 and kept them), but yeah, it's really irresponsible to breed your pets (if you're not a breeder with champion, show-quality animals) with as many animals die in shelters every day.

It could be worse OP, you could be one of the many women who don't have a baby because their body can't carry a baby, they can't afford IVF or are completely infertile and will never have their own biological baby. Even then plenty can't afford the cost of surrogacy and there's no guarantee they will be found suitable to adopt. You still have hope that you will have a child of your own one day, so hold on to that.
