you shouldn't feel pathetic for lying to a three year-old; you should feel pathetic for actually caring that you don't have a boyfriend. i'm 20 and single and have been all my life.. who cares? goodness.

Definitely NOT a ydi. I've done this before, to cousins my own age. everyone seems to think if you're single you fail at life, even when you go to a top university, don't mess around, have a full scholarship, are on the dean's list, and take care of your parents with your full time job. but "oh, no boyfriend?! how sad!" f stupid people. don't feel bad. :)

and everyone else, you can be as secure as you want, but people DO obviously look down on you with pity when you tell them you are single. it's happened sooooo many times to me, it does make an impression. so stop attacking her. jeez.

well I guess we know what his other babysitters where doing on the job...

ohhhhhhhhhhhh man you are sucha a loserrrr. yea no boyfriend? wow you must be really nasty or something. ok it's not a big deal if you don't have a boyfriend. you need to be self-reliant.

What's pathetic is that the other chicks are so into bringing their BFs over while babysitting (which is WRONG on so many levels) that even a toddler automatically assumes that if a babysitter is over, it means a boyfriend will suddenly appear too. D: Ew. Kudos to you, for not being like all those brainless twats. (Regardless of having a boyfriend or not. Don't worry, there's no hurry. :D)
